The US Supreme Court performed the magic trick today of changing the Obamacare provision for penalizing those American citizens who do not purchase health insurance into a tax. But it is a tax on not buying health insurance! Still sounds like a penalty to me! It's a taxalty!The po' folk won't be affected since they won't have to buy insurance OR pay the taxalty. The rich won't be effected of course. That just leaves - no surprise - the middle class to fork over. The middle class - those Americans who WORK, who all ready PAY TAXES, who aren't exempt from paying but who mostly CAN"T AFFORD A NEW TAXALTY!
Can you say, "Fall of the Roman Empire?" Can you say, "Those who fail to learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them?" Do you know what "bread and circuses" means? How much more largess for the proletariat can working Americans foot the bill for?
We don't need health care reform, we need government reform! Throw the bums out in November!
